Our story

Heritage, carried forward.

Pamana means inheritance—the stories, skills, and traditions entrusted to us, and the responsibility to carry them into the future.

April Suntay

A bridge between Filipino makers and the world.

Pamana Collective was founded on a simple belief: Filipino craftsmanship deserves to be seen, understood, and carried forward.

We are not simply bringing Filipino products to New York. We are creating a bridge between Filipino artisans and a global community that values the hands, materials, traditions, and places behind every piece.

Our hope is that each object creates connection—between maker and wearer, heritage and modern life, and one generation and the next.

Every piece begins with a person, a place, and a story.

The purpose

Creativity with roots.

We want customers in New York—and wherever Pamana travels—to understand that every piece represents Filipino creativity and craftsmanship. Its value lives not only in how it looks, but in who made it, what shaped it, and why it matters.

Preserving the story

More than an object.

Wherever possible, Pamana Collective preserves and shares the story behind each artisan and product, so the journey of a piece remains visible alongside its beauty.

Our vision together

From the Philippines to New York.

From one generation to the next.

Together, we can introduce Filipino craftsmanship to new audiences, create sustainable opportunities for Filipino makers, and help ensure that the beauty of our heritage continues to live on.
